Our digital scanning technology allows us to make necessary modifications before the arch supports are made, and the material we use allows us to make modifications after they are made.

Remember that our feet are the most complex portions of our endoskeleton, yet they are often the most neglected. Our pedorthic (biomechanics of the foot) training teaches us that the best thing that we can provide any foot that has to stand, walk, or run on hard surfaces is to lay its three arches (yes, three) on top of a custom footbed or orthotic, which evenly distributes the weight and pressure across the entire foot – similar to walking barefoot in a soft, uneven terrain.

The fact that we all have to stand, walk, and run on hard surfaces (hard floors, asphalt, and concrete) allows room for the arches in our feet to give, which allows pronation, foot conditions like bunions and plantar fasciitis, and pain in our forefoot, heel, ankles, knees, hips, and back.

Good posture and alignment starts from the ground up. We also prefer a flexible, semi-rigid orthotic to rigid orthotics, in that they are able to give as your foot requires. However, we are also able to manufacture rigid orthotics, if your doctor prefers.

We also carry many varieties of over-the-counter, pre-fabricated orthotics/arch supports, but they are clearly made for your shoe size and not your feet – never allowing a “perfect fit”.
